Range of the Caspian Tiger 
The Caspian tiger, Panthera tigris virgata, once lived in Afghanistan,
Iran, Turkey, Mongolia, and the Central Asiatic area of Russia. It probably
became extinct in the 1950s. Range of the Java and Balinese Tigers
The
Javan tiger, Panthera tigris sondaica, once lived on the Indonesian island
of Java. The last Javan tiger was seen in 1972. The Bali tiger, Panthera
tigris balica, once lived on the island of Bali. The last Bali tiger
was believed to have been killed in 1937.
