Tiger Parts: Skin

Tiger skins were once the most valuable parts of tigers to poach and sell. In recent years, however, skins have become much less valuable. For many people in Europe and North America, animal skins and furs are no longer fashionable--or even acceptable--clothing. Many countries throughout the world have banned the sale of tiger skins in an effort to protect the species.
