Preschool Classes

Join a Minnesota Zoo Naturalist for a fun-filled nature adventure! Each class is 2.5 hours long and includes a story, craft, snack, and exploration of the Zoo. These classes are designed for children only please (age four through kindergarten). Classes are offered on Friday mornings or afternoons. (except the Thursday class on October 16) Call 952.431.9320 if you have any questions.

Fees: Members: $27 per class, Non-members: $32 per class.

Wild Wonders Preschool

Spring Session: March 23 - May 18

Join us for our sixth year of Wild Wonders—a uniquely packaged Preschool program! This popular format allows us to offer a continuing theme throughout nine consecutive weeks, to provide...and to promote student-directed learning, a current trend in early childhood education. Throughout this exciting program, children will discover and explore the wonders of nature.

Topics for fall include the seasons, leaves and trees, bird and butterfly migration, animal homes, animal tracks and antlers, and more. Our winter session will also have a seasonal focus on animals as winter melts into spring. The spring session will take place at the Farm as we explore domestic animals and how they help us every day. Classes are filled with fun activities, crafts, and animal encounters and are offered on Mondays from either 9:30 a.m. – noon or 1:00–3:30 p.m.

Limited spots available, so don't delay—mail in your registration early. These classes are designed for children only (age four through kindergarten).
