Minnesota Zoo Debuts Official "Do the Waddle" Music Video Featuring Twin Cities Teen Band "Q The Clique"
Apple Valley, MINN – July 13, 2011 – The Minnesota Zoo is pleased to announce the debut of the "Do The Waddle" music video, in honor of the opening of the new 3M Penguins of the African Coast exhibit. The Zoo has tapped Twin Cities' teen band "Q The Clique" to record and perform an extended play version of the Zoo's popular advertising jingle. The music video is posted on dothewaddle.com and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOf5llI5gHE Q The Clique has been together for over a year and has moved quickly from a garage band to winning battle of the band competitions and most recently performing at the Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis and the Minnesota Zoo. Band members are classmates at Burnsville High School and are also students of the School of Rock in Burnsville. The Minnesota Zoo is located in Apple Valley, just minutes south of Mall of America.
